actually, growing up is feeling like i turned sixteen two days ago. i’ve been eighteen for years. fifteen year olds seem so young. wasn’t i fifteen just a few weeks ago? all my friends and i are still twelve. i’m closer to thirty then to being a baby. i never got to be a kid. i never grew past eight. i can’t talk to my mom. i want to sit in her lap forever. the week is going by so slow. an entire year has passed. i want to decide everything for myself. i need someone to tell me exactly what to do.

You know what makes me angrier than Snape seeing a child, who he knows was raised by muggles (a muggle he knew btw), and asking him to tell the difference between the same plant just using two different names? There’s the blatant need to embarrass an eleven year old on his first day in front of all his peers, but it’s the fact that he would have known the answer if his parents were alive. James Potter, son of Fleamont Potter the famous potioneer would have known that and taught that to his son at a very early age in order to help uncle Moony. Lily was also an incredibly gifted young witch in potions. He threw a life that Harry never got to have with his parents and crazy adopted uncles, right in his face and Harry didn’t know. Because how could he?

and everything just happens to be his fault because he was the one who told about the profecy to the dark lord anti snape hp
